Surgery Day
Charlie has just been wheeled in for the pre op procedure. He had a really good night of sleep last night, early morning. I was checking on Matt and Charlie every 20 minutes this morning and they were just snuggled like a bug in the rug. We are moving the HQ down to 2nd floor surgery waiting right now. Will update as the day goes on. Thanks for the outpouring of support; through emails, wall posts and comments left here. Matt, and most of the family quite honestly, has been visibly moved as he reads through the well wishes.

We are lifting Charlie up to our Heavenly Father-and asking for complete healing for Charlie. You are in our thoughts all the time. We've added you as a link to our blog, so many others can join in praying as well!! You guys are covered in love and prayer!!

Myself, Amy, and the rest of the DenUyl clan are wishing you all the best. I can't help but think about Charlie's pose when you ask him how tough he is... I dare this punk "Luke Kemia", the school bully, to ask the same question to Charlie as Charlie will flex hard and lay him out!
Another favorite move of his, although let's change the wording a little... "How big is Charlie's family, love, and support system?.... Sooooooo Big!"

Thought I would forward this prayer I recieved from friends that don't know you personally, but are praying for you. You guys are still all we are thinking about, and we pray that today will begin the process of turning this sickness around. Great things are possible! Just believe it! Give that beautiful boy a squeeze for me.

Jeremiah 3:33 I ask that the power of God would touch this little one to keep Charlie for his destiny. That the purpose of God would be fulfilled in his life.
