Charlie pics Post-Op

Sitting back with a movie and a snack.

First food after surgery. Popsickles don't count as food, right?

The prayers are coming from far and wide! I called my mom last night to ask her to keep Charlie and the family in her prayers. She, who has never even met Charlie, found on her church email this morning, prayer requests for a friend of the family's nephew...Charlie Gibson! The prayers will keep on coming! Lots of love and hugs!

Today T.J. saw me looking at the pictures on this blog. He looked very concerned, and asked me, "Mama, is Matt sad because Charlie has snot?" I thought about it and decided to keep it simple and say yes. He told me, looking as serious as a 3 year-old can look, "Don't worry, he will get better. He needs a tissue!"

Anyways, T.J. wishes Charlie well! As do we all. So glad for the encouraging news!

It's at times like these that you step back and realize how important family is and how truly precious life can be. You are so strong Matt, keep that strength knowing that Charlie is lifted up in our thoughts and showered in prayers. Though we can't be there with you, know that we are here for you always.
With all our love,
Chad & Jess

Matt & Lauren,

What a difficult time this is for you. Nothing can describe the despair a parent feels to know their precious little child is suffering and yet feel so helpless. May you find comfort and strength in the support of all your loved ones and peace in knowing Charlie is in the thoughts and prayers of more people than you could ever imagine.

Love,
Aunt Jana, Uncle Bob, & cousins

Hi...I don't know anyone here, but was made aware of Charlie's condition and this blog by Jessica. I can tell you that these things can be overcome...and I have seen it happen. I will pray for Charlie...and offer a prayer request at my Church in Kalamazoo.

Already, I picture him as a healthy, happy little boy surrounded by lot's of love.

Take heart in these words... have faith... do not doubt...

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

~~~
Get Well Charlie... we ask in prayer..and we believe in God's power to accomplish that!
